Levens Hall and Gardens

Levens Hall and Gardens is famous for its amazing topiary which is some of the oldest in the world. The grade I listed gardens date from 1694, and through a combination of circumstance and love they have survived in their original design. You can enjoy a meal in the Bellingham Buttery which serves produce from the estate, and explore the contents of the house itself, which was used as a residence from the 1590's and contains wood carvings by Italian craftsmen and Elizabeth the Firsts coat of arms.
