The Cleveland Way Walks

The Cleveland Way is 109 miles/176km long, with points of interest every step of the Way. Enjoy the North York Moors and Coast on this spectacular route which takes in the dramatic and rugged coastline bordering the North Sea.
The route starts from the attractive market town of Helmsley and heads accross the heather moorland of the North Yorkshire Moors before reaching the coast at Saltburn. From here it's a visual treat along the dramtic North Yorkshire coastline to Filey, passing old fishing villages and coastal towns.
Along the way there is a wealth of history and heritage to enjoy; Helmsley Castle, Rievaulx Abbey, Mount Grace Priory and Whitby Abbey to name but a few special sites. There's also plently of great accomodation and pubs en route.
