The Sage Gateshead

The spectacular building of the Sage Gateshead was designed by architect Norman Foster as an international home for music that will also bring about the enrichment of the musical life of the North of England. It is home to Northern Sinfonia – one of Europe’s most exciting chamber orchestras, and organises a large and varied programme of classical concerts and vents throughout the year, including open air concerts with fireworks!

There is a café, a Brasserie and four bars you can use without having to buy a concert ticket. The Sage serves food and drinks of all sorts – from real ale to mineral water, from baguettes to smoked salmon.
