The National Portrait Gallery

The Portrait Restaurant
The National Portrait Gallery's 80 seat roof-top restaurant boasts spectacular views over London, and has established itself as one of the capital's most sought after dining areas, set 92 feet above ground level on the third floor of the Gallery's Ondaatje Wing.
 
Diners can enjoy an unparalleled vista of Nelson in Trafalgar Square and across Whitehall to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye. 
 
The Portrait Restaurant offers an la carte menu with British dishes. Reservations can be made by phone or online. Make a reservation

The National Portrait Gallery Gift Shop stocks a multitude of quality products inspired by the Gallery’s Collection, including jewellery, posters, stationery, seasonal products and party masks.

Book Shop 
Specialising in books on British history, biography, art, photography and costume as well as a well stocked children's and teachers' section, the  Bookshop offers an extensive range. Located in the basement, adjoining the Portrait Café, the Bookshop offers an attractive location in which to browse.
