Cardiff
With a plethora of futuristic developments such as the Millennium Centre for Arts, the Welsh National Assembly and the fantastic 72 000 seater sports stadium, Cardiff certainly feels like an international city, even though it has only officially been the Welsh capital since 1955.
Cardiff Bay is a great place to visit, with landmark buildings and a fine selection of bars and eateries.
Why not visit the Welsh National Museum and Gallery, which hosts outstanding collections of art, and has historical exhibits telling the story of Wales. Further afield, Castle Coch and Llandaff Cathedral provide welcome respite from the bustle of the centre. |
